Diversity in Law - the Pipeline Project

The Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division and Northern Kentucky University will host the 2016 KBA Why Choose Law? Diversity Pipeline Program starting at noon on Thursday, June 16, 2016 and ending at noon on Friday, June 17, 2016. The tentative agenda includes mock law classes, a panel from practicing attorneys, a networking dinner at GameWorks at Newport on the Levee, a visit to a legal clinic and advice from school counselors on what it takes to get into college or law school, depending on the level of the student. The 2-day overnight program is open to rising high school juniors and seniors, college students and law school students. Participants will receive free overnight housing at Northern Kentucky University as well as dinner and breakfast at the program. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS ARE EXTENDED TO APRIL 15, 2016.
